Harlem, Georgia: Teen Actor Master Class

“This experience has made me more comfortable with myself and helped me mature as an actor. I learned how to let myself go and be available to the other person. I learned to live on stage one moment at a time and to be aware of my surroundings but not distracted by them. I am thankful that I could experience something this amazing!” Amber

“The most important thing a got from the workshop is that if I am going to live up to my full potential as an actress, I must truly make a commitment. I also loved experiencing that the meaning behind what I say is more important than what I say. This has been an amazing experience!” Chelsea

“I learned a lot about listening. Normally, I would try and make an improv go in the direction I wanted it to go. I learned in the class that it is a collaboration. I also realize from working with Larry that people don’t pay to see “actors” on a stage, they pay to see real people; real, uncensored and passionate reactions.” Steve

“Larry’s class taught me how to apply natural, human concepts to acting. I learned that I must go with what happens rather than thinking too far ahead and I felt in the exercises the importance of paying attention to other people in the moment.” Carol

“This class boosted my confidence!” Becca

“I learned that it is better to put yourself into a character than to just act it.” Bridget

“One of the most important things I learned was how to let go of the control, to stop thinking about myself and really open up.” Nicole

“This weekend, I’ve learned how to surrender my grip on control, to let the person I am working with guide me and to work from my own, truthful point of view. I now know that I can’t act as any actor has before me, but only from who I am.” Meg

“I have not only grown as an actress this weekend, I have grown as a person. Thank you so much for coming.” Heather

“I experienced that if you focus on someone else and let go of control and let them lead you, they just may take you to the most amazing place!” Anthony

“The knowledge I gained from this workshop is worth more than anyone could ever pay because I not only learned about being on stage, but about myself and life. Larry Silverberg ROCKS!!!” Josh

“Larry’s workshop was the rain we needed for our very parched teachers and students! The techniques he taught were refreshing and enlightening and stripped away all plastic methods and facades. Every student learned so much and was very excited about the experience. For myself, I now have a more honest way to approach acting and a clearer path to truth for teaching my students. Thank you so much Larry, for sharing this incredible gift with us - we are already planning for next years master class!” Roy Lewis
